31 answers about how MGG works
Accounts, trading, investing, brokerage, funding and security. If your question is not here, the help centre goes deeper and support will answer anything else.
Account
How do I create an MGG account?
Register with an email address and a password, confirm the address using the code we email you, then set up two-factor authentication. The whole process takes a few minutes and nothing needs to be approved before you can look around.
What verification is required?
Identity verification asks for your personal details, an identity document and a proof of address. Until it is complete your account runs with lower limits and withdrawals stay locked. You can browse markets, plan an investment and explore the dashboard before verifying.
Can I have more than one account?
One account per person. Everything the platform offers, trading, plans and brokerage, runs inside that single account and shares one balance.
How do I close my account?
Withdraw any remaining balance, then contact support from the address registered to the account. We confirm the closure by email once it is done.
Trading
What can I trade on MGG?
Cryptocurrencies, US equities listed on NASDAQ and NYSE, and major foreign exchange pairs. The markets page lists the full catalogue with prices, 24h moves and volume.
What order types are available?
Market, limit and stop. A market order fills at the current price, a limit order waits for your price or better, and a stop order activates once the market trades through your trigger level.
What are take profit and stop loss?
They are the two levels that close a position automatically. Take profit closes it in profit at a level you choose; stop loss closes it at a loss to stop the damage getting worse. Both are optional on every order.
Which side of my entry do TP and SL go?
On a long (buy) position, take profit sits above your entry and stop loss below it. On a short (sell) position they swap: take profit below, stop loss above. MGG checks this before accepting an order and explains any rejection.
Can I change the levels after the order is filled?
Yes. Any open position lets you add, change or remove either level. The adjustment screen shows the current value beside the field for the new one, so it is clear what you are replacing.
What fees apply to a trade?
A percentage trading fee is applied to the order value and shown in the ticket before you confirm, along with the total cost and the balance you will be left with.
Investing
How do investment plans work?
You choose a plan, set an amount inside its minimum and maximum, and the position runs for a fixed term. Value accrues daily toward the plan's modelled maturity value, and the capital returns to your balance when the term ends.
Are the returns guaranteed?
No. A plan's return figure describes how it is modelled over its term. It is not a forecast, not advice and not a guarantee. Investing can lose money.
Can I enable auto-reinvest?
Yes, and it is off by default. With it on, the original amount starts a fresh term on the same plan the day the previous one matures, and the accrued return is credited to your available balance.
Can I withdraw before maturity?
It depends on the plan. The shortest plan allows withdrawal after the first week; longer plans are designed to run to maturity. Each plan's page states its own rule.
Brokerage
What is stock brokerage on MGG?
Brokerage is for buying equities to hold rather than to trade. Each holding is measured against its cost basis, with average price, market value and unrealised profit or loss tracked separately from your trading positions.
How is it different from trading a stock?
A brokerage holding is judged against what you paid over the long run. A trading position is judged against an entry price with risk levels attached. They live in the same account but in separate views.
Which stocks can I hold?
A selection of large-cap NASDAQ and NYSE names across technology, semiconductors, financials, consumer and industrials. The brokerage page lists them with prices, sector and day move.
Deposits
What deposit methods are available?
Crypto transfer, bank transfer and debit or credit card. Each has its own minimum, shown on the deposit screen before you start.
Which crypto networks are supported?
Deposits are supported on four networks across BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC. Always pick the network that matches the one you are sending from, because a transfer sent on the wrong network cannot be recovered.
How long does a crypto deposit take?
The deposit screen shows the transfer from the moment it is detected, then counts the confirmations required by that network before the balance updates.
Why does a bank transfer need a reference?
The reference is unique to your account and is how an incoming transfer is matched to you. A transfer sent without it needs manual work by support before it can be credited.
Withdrawals
What withdrawal methods are available?
Crypto to an external wallet, or cash to a verified bank account. Both show the fee and the net amount you will receive before you confirm.
Why is my withdrawal blocked?
Withdrawals require a verified account. If verification is incomplete the platform explains what is missing and links straight to the step you need.
Can I save a withdrawal address?
Yes. Saved wallets store a label, token and network so you do not have to paste an address every time, and you can mark one as your default.
Security
How is my account protected?
Two-factor authentication, trusted device management, active session review and a full sign-in history you can audit yourself. Security-relevant changes generate a notification.
What is 2FA?
Two-factor authentication asks for a second proof of identity after your password, a six-digit code from an authenticator app. It means a stolen password on its own is not enough to reach your account.
What if I lose my authenticator?
Use one of the recovery codes issued when you set two-factor up. Keep them somewhere separate from your phone. If those are gone too, contact support from your registered email address.
Will MGG ever ask for my password?
No. Nobody from MGG will ask for your password, a two-factor code or a recovery code, by email or any other route. Treat any such request as an attempt to take your account.
The platform
Is the market data real?
Prices shown across the website and the dashboard are indicative and update continuously through the session. Treat them as a guide to how a market is moving rather than as an execution quote.
Is MGG regulated?
MGG makes no claim of regulatory licence, registration or supervision, and offers no deposit insurance or capital protection of any kind. Trading and investing put your capital at risk.
Is there a mobile app?
The platform is built to work on a phone browser, with layouts designed for small screens rather than shrunk down from the desktop. There is no separate native app.
Ready to try it?
Everything described here is part of the MGG account.
