1. In short

Trading and investing can lose you money. That is not a formality at the bottom of a page; it is the central fact of every product on this platform. You can lose some or all of the money you commit, and you should not commit money you cannot afford to lose.

2. Scope of this notice

This notice describes the main risks of the products available through My Gains Global. It cannot describe every risk of every instrument in every market condition, and it is not a substitute for your own assessment or for professional advice. It forms part of our terms of service, and you should read it before you trade or open an investment plan.

3. Market risk

The value of a position can fall as well as rise, and can fall to zero. Prices move for reasons that are often unpredictable, including economic data, monetary policy, company events, regulation, liquidity conditions and sentiment. Past movement does not indicate future movement, and a period of calm is not evidence that a market has become safer.

4. Risks by asset class

• Cryptocurrency. Highly volatile, traded continuously, and capable of very large moves over short periods. Some assets have thin liquidity, concentrated ownership or technology and governance risk specific to the network. Regulatory treatment varies by country and can change quickly.
• Equities. The value of a shareholding depends on company performance and on market conditions. Shares can fall sharply on news, can be suspended from trading, and can become worthless if the issuer fails. Dividends are not guaranteed. Corporate actions can change the size or nature of a holding.
• Foreign exchange. Currency pairs can move rapidly on macroeconomic and political events, and markets can gap through levels without trading at them, particularly around data releases and market opens.

5. Order and execution risk

• A market order guarantees a fill, not a price. The price you receive may differ from the price you saw, particularly in a fast or thin market.
• A limit order guarantees a price, not a fill. It may execute in part, or never execute at all.
• A stop order becomes active at your trigger and is then subject to the same execution conditions as any other order.
• A stop loss sets the level at which a position is closed. It does not guarantee the price obtained, and a gapping market can close it well beyond your level.
• A take profit closes a position at your target if the market reaches it. It does not guarantee that the market will reach it.

6. Investment plan risk

A plan's stated return describes how the product is structured over its term. It is a model, not a forecast, not a promise and not a guarantee. A higher risk band describes a wider range of possible outcomes, and that range includes worse ones as well as better ones. Capital committed to a fixed-term plan may not be accessible before maturity, or may be accessible only on terms that reduce the amount returned. Returns shown before costs and taxes are not what you keep.

7. Liquidity and availability risk

It may not always be possible to enter or exit a position when you want to, at the size you want, or at the price you expect. Markets close, instruments are suspended, spreads widen, and in stressed conditions liquidity can disappear from an asset that normally trades freely.

8. Operational and technology risk

Access to the platform depends on internet connectivity, your own device, and systems operated by us and by third parties. Outages, latency, maintenance, connectivity failures and events outside our reasonable control can delay or prevent an instruction from being placed, amended or cancelled at the moment you intend.

9. Custody and counterparty risk

Assets and funds may be held with banks, payment providers, exchanges, custodians or blockchain networks. The failure, insolvency, error or compromise of any of those parties can affect access to your assets or their value. Transfers on a blockchain network are generally irreversible, and a transfer sent to an address entered incorrectly may not be recoverable.

10. Currency and tax

If a position or a plan is denominated in a currency other than the one you spend in, exchange rate movement will change your return independently of the position itself. Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and on the law where you live, and can change. We do not provide tax advice, and you are responsible for reporting and paying any tax due.

11. No advice

Nothing on this website or in the platform is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Market data, charts, figures and educational material are provided for information only, may be delayed or indicative, and should not be relied on as the basis for a decision. We do not assess whether a product is suitable or appropriate for you.

12. No guarantee or protection

No return, income or capital protection is promised or guaranteed by My Gains Global. We make no representation that your funds or assets are covered by deposit insurance, an investor compensation scheme or any similar arrangement. Any statement to the contrary, from any source, should be treated as inaccurate.

13. Your responsibility

Decisions you make through your account are your own. Before you trade or invest, consider whether the product suits your objectives, your financial position, your knowledge and your capacity to bear loss. Only commit money you can afford to lose, and take independent professional advice if you are in any doubt.
